Moleskine in Moldova is a subsidiary of the renown Italian manufacturer of high class notebooks and diaries. So, the client wanted the potential Moldovan customers to find out more about this brand that has a huge worldwide success and about the possibility to buying their products.
Our main goal was to create an online strategy that would synchronize with Moleskine’s international communication effort.
We aimed to create a successful platform that would enhance the relationship between the brand and the creative persons in Moldova. We relied on the Facebook and Instagram channels to convey the values of the brand.
How it worked?
There was created a special content strategy for the Social Media channels. On Facebook we aimed to promote the specific products that were available for purchase in Moldova, while on Instagram we promoted the #moleskinemd hashtag, thus collecting the fans’ artwork and reposting it in order to encourage their creativity.
We created and aligned their visual materials to the international standards, but with a Moldovan twist. In order to engage with the fans, we came up with a seasonal contest dedicated to Halloween. This photo contest had a simple and creative concept: one had to draw a cute little monster, take a picture of it and upload it in a special Facebook application. The most popular pictures were awarded with Moleskine prizes.
