Context

Orange Moldova is a GSM network operator. The company is also an internet service provider and a fixed voice services provider for business.

This year, during the Back2School period, Orange Moldova decided to focus on digital communication and engage with its customers in a creative and ”inspiring” way.

Idea

The cinemagraph concept was born at Publicis Moldova advertising agency and was developed further by us.

Solution

A landing page created specifically for the B2S campaign.

On the web page there was a video tutorial where Ilie’s vlogs explained how to do a cinemagraph.

The participants had to create their own cinemagraph and upload it to the contest page. Their goal was to get as many votes as they could for their centerpiece in order to win.

Channels we used

The main platform we used was Orange Moldova`s Facebook page. The campaign was boosted by additional ads, promo posts and was announced on Instagram, Twitter, Odnoklassniki, VKontakte and Google Plus.

Even though we had only four weeks, we have managed to create a complex and unique application which included concept, design and development. The contest was daily monitored to assure the authenticity of the content and the transparency of the participations.

The process of creating cinemagraphs was quite complicated but the results of the contest were quite encouraging as our target group was a bunch of creative people who were able to deliver qualified and attractive content.

The cinemagraphs were part of digital communication in the Back to School campaign and together with Ilie’s vlogs we managed to promote the innovations in the digital field.
